Each print is produced using archival inks (guaranteed lightfast for 100+ years) on Canson Infinity Rag Photographique Paper and personally signed off by myself.

Inspiration
 
One of the most humbling, memorable and beautiful experiences of my life was being able to trek to see mountain gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda. These gentle giants are in an extremely vulnerable position due to habitat loss, so spending an hour in their company was a rare privilege indeed.
 
The silverback, head of the family unit, acted as gatekeeping. Only once he was satisfied we were of no threat to his family did he allow us to get closer to the group. However, he was ever present, watching over proceedings with an impressive, yet gentle, air of majesty. This is how I have aimed to capture this majestic king of the jungle.
