Each print is produced using archival inks (guaranteed lightfast for 100+ years) on Canson Infinity Rag Photographique Paper and personally signed off by myself.

Inspiration
 
A photograph by wildlife photographer David Lloyd inspired this piece, an abstract shot of the back end of a giraffe. I was mesmerised by the details of the pattern, which can so often be overlooked, when viewing the animal as a whole. 
 
This inspired me to try to capture the same essence of the animal, through its unmistakable pattern alone. I found it to be quite a liberating process. Without the key focal points of the eyes, mouth etc. it forced me to really focus in on the details in the pattern of the fur, direction of the hairs and tonality of the markings that has only served me well in subsequent works.
